Back from level II u/s!

in Pregnant after a Loss

The tech said that everything arms/legs/body/head were measuring w/in days of each other. So that is great! And this was what we were mainly worried about. She said that she didn't see anything wrong with her physically or with my placenta or her cord. Yay!

One thing of very slight concern is that she was measuring at only 18 weeks, with an EDD of 4/4/10. Now I know that measuring w/in a few days of expected is pretty normal...but up to this point all of her u/s (4 so far?) have shown her measuring ahead, and this is the first one that showed her behind. I am hoping that this means nothing, and it is normal for her. We will likely be having a growth f/u u/s later in the 2nd tri or early 3rd tri to make sure she is still matching these dates.

Anyway.  We are very relieved!  Thank you for all of your T&P!!  :)

    Oh, I am so glad that this u/s went well and your little girl is doing well! I'm sure the difference in dates is not a big deal. I'm sure she's just fine!

    Yay! I'm SO glad it all went well. I was thinking about you today and hoping for a post very soon! I think I read somewhere that between 15 and 20ish weeks, all babies grow at totally different rates, so it's not uncommon for them to measure "behind" occasionally. :)

    That's great news!! ?What a relief. ?I don't think you should worry too much about her being behind a few days. ?It could just be a difference between machines or techs. ?Especially when they are bigger, it's not uncommon for measurements to differ like that. ?
