I know she's very excited about this baby, but I think she's forgetting that she's not the decision-maker here. She's being pretty pushy about how things are going to work, from what type of carrier we'll use to what sports the kid will play (and 200 other things in between). It's not like she's even saying "I think you should try this carrier" and "I hope she plays this sport." Instead, she says "you're going to get x carrier" and "she's going to play this sport."
It wouldn't bother me if she said stuff without such a bossy tone. In fact, I'd be happy that she is so excited. Instead, it's like she's already decided everything on our behalf. She can say whatever she wants, but she's going to be in for a surprise she finds out it's not up to her. Heck, some of it isn't even up to us - it's up to the freaking kid.

Tell her you will use whatever carrier happens to work best for YOU, and your kids will do whatever activities THEY choose to do.
And good luck, because it will probably get worse once the baby is here.
