WWYD - Scheduling &NT Scan

Hello,

I figured that I would get opinions before I become the crazy lady always calling by MW. 

Ok, according to my LMP, I am almost 9wks, but according to when I think I O'd I'm only about 7 weeks. My first appt. with my MW is 11/18, so I will be either 11 or 9 wks. We definitely want an NT scan, and I realize that it can only be done during a small window of time. I'm not sure if they do them there or somewhere else. Should I call and ask them and then try to schedule the NT scan? I don't want to be a pain, but I don't want to miss out on that narrow window.

Advice? WWYD?

    I would first see if they will do a dating ultrasound for you at your appt, so that you know when to schedule the NT. If you think your dates are off by that much tell them and they should do one for you.

    If they won't, I think the window is 11 to 14 weeks so you should be able to make it- schedule it for when you think you are 12 weeks exactly by your O date.

    Schedule it at 13 weeks so you'll be at least 11 weeks but not past the allotted time for the scan.  They'll "date" your baby at the u/s.

    Thanks! I think I probably will call because if there are poor results, like we had the last time, I will want to get a CVS. I know those have a VERY small window.

    I scheduled mine for almost 13w.  They also told me they would measure the baby then and give me a pic of course.
