At 31/32 weeks is baby usually head down or breech still? I can't tell which parts (head, hands or feet) are digging into my crotch and DH disagrees with my reasoning...so I wanted to know what general position is baby in around 31/32 weeks??
Thanks!
Re: I know everyone is different, but generally speaking....
every baby is different.
my LO went head down at 31.5 weeks
Me: 37
DH: 36
Married: 08-25-07
DS: 11-20-09

Mine was head-down around that time. I could feel hiccups really low, but I didn't know for sure he was head-down until the doc felt around and confirmed that.

Baby A has been head down forever, since like 12 weeks
Baby B finally went head down at 30 weeks but I have been cautioned that there is plenty of time for him to flip out of position
my last U/S at 32 weeks we were still Breech.
Dr said he will more then likely flip in time, but another u/s will be done closer to the date to verify.
*fingers crossed* cuz i'm not too geeky about a c section.

Thanks Ladies!! I think we are head down too (mostly because of the hiccups) but my DH says that's impossible...hehe like they know everything! I googled it too and like most of you guys say, between 28 and 32 weeks the babies shift. I just wanted to triple check I wasn't crazy.
Thanks!
My LO was head down by that point. I could tell by where I felt his hiccups...and it was confirmed at my 33 week ultrasound.
I have *no* idea when he got into that position, though.
I'm only 29w, but she's breech.
I read that a very small percentage (4%?) are breech by birth and a doctor can palpate and tell you without an ultrasound.

My OB thought that it was the head she was feeling last week, but it turned out to be his butt! My LO is in a breech position and has been that way since around 27 weeks. But, I think I just have a stubborn baby!!
I'm almost 29 weeks, but my munchkin is head down (just had an US)
There can still be a lot of movement going on at that point. DD was breech at 28 wks, head down at 30 wks, breech at 32 wks, and at 33 wks is head down again- but I felt her flip twice over the weekend.
DS was head down from 20wks on.
