If your LO had a birthday recently, have you sent out TY notes?

Anna's bday was on October 10th, and I've yet to send out a single thank you note.  Please tell me I'm not the only slacker.  October was an insanely busy month for us - no time on the weekends to do anything!

    DD1's party was 10/4. We gave/mailed them out the next day. I wrote the TY part and she wrote her name on the bottom.

    I have to do them immediately after the party or else I know I would never get to them! Feels good to get them out of the way quickly! Not awful that you haven't gotten them out yet - but I would try to get them out sooner rather than later.

    LOL, yes. I wrote mine three days after her party, but didn't mail them out until a month later because I kept forgetting to buy stamps.

    I actually did mine the week after the party, because we were going on vacation and I wanted them done before then.

    DS's party was about two weeks ago on a Friday. I had them in the mail the following Monday. If I don't do it right away, I feel like I'll never do them, so I just get it over with.

    Ok give me a break to whoever one starred this post.  Geesh!

    And Charleigh's party was 9/26.  I sent out all but close family thank yous within about two weeks.  I have YET to send out the close family ones bc things have been nuts at work and I have been getting home late plus the weekends have been crazy.  So yes, I suck too :)

    DS's birthday party was Oct 10 (birthday Oct 8th) and the cards went into the mail this morning! October was crazy and I had to sit down and write them during the Phillies game last night.

    DD's party was on 10/17.  I did half of them within a couple of days.  I still have about half to do.  So, you're definitely not alone.

    I'm going to hit Target on the way home and get some TY notes.  My goal was to have them out before 1 month.  That's quickly approaching.

    I've had a reputation of taking forever to get out TY notes, which started to bug me. I didn't want people to think of me as ungrateful all the time. So, I started a new rule of filling out all TY notes within 24 hours. For DD's party, I had them mailed 2 days after her party and it felt great! It's a pain sometimes, but it feels so good to get them out of the way. Plus, I remember more details of the party that way which makes them easier to write.

    $1 store $1 store!!! (Dollar Tree)

    I found packs of 12 for a dollar there! Much more expensive elsewhere!

    The dollar store ones are really cute too!

    Oooh, good idea!  We have Dollar Generals around  here, same thing, I guess?  There's one on my way home - I'll stop and check it out.

    ehh I still have not received a TY note from my SIL for the present for my neice almost 3 wks ago. Mine went out pretty quickly but then again I have nothing better to do at work.

    Gwen's party was the 10th too.  Between Mexico and the flu, I haven't even written mine out yet.  My goal is to have them mailed out by Friday, but who knows.................you are not alone!!

    I am THE WORST with thank you notes. Miraculously, I got Lyla's birthday ones done already... but normally it takes me forever. I never ever judge people on how long it takes to get a TY in the mail, based on my own history! :)

    Yes - Baby J's party was on the 17th and I had them made out and mailed on the 19th.

    Luke's party was on 9/26 and I mailed the thank yous early last week. So, a month later Embarrassed. But hey, they DID go out!

    The party was 10/4.  I ordered the TY cards (with his photo from the party) that night and got them maybe a week later. They were mailed by 10/14 at the latest.

    I was VERY proud of that.  I know myself, though, and if I don't do it RIGHT THEN, then it would have been months before I got them out.
