Baby hit his head on mine several times

This morning my LO was acting crazy.  He would scream unless  held him upright but he was throwing his head all around and would not be still.  He hit his head on mine several times.  It hurt me so I would think it hurt him.  He did run into my lip and face.  Anyway I patted him and a big burp came out and then I put him in the swing and now he's happy.  

I'm worried about him bonking his head on me so hard.  He seems ok now but I'm just paranoid I guess.  Does this happen to you?  Is the baby fine?

    I'm sure he's fine.  Nora will often hit her head or nose onto my collarbone.  Sometimes she cries, like "Ouch!" but a minute or so later she's fine.  I have learned that I need to drape a blanket over my shoulder for cushion.  I'm too boney!

    Natalie tends to head butt me when she gets worked up as well. I don't worry about it too much because she acts fine.

    DD has head butted me a few times. As long as she's alert and responsive afterward, she's fine. It hasn't hurt me when she's head butted me though. If you're concerned you should call your pedi.

    DH has nicknamed DD's head "The Battering Ram" because she's hit him really good a few times. She seems fine afterwards (but DH ended up with a busted lip)

    My LO head butts me, too, when I'm holding her upright on my shoulder.  I always wonder if she's okay b/c it kind of hurts me, but she always seems just fine!
