If you only feed from one breast at a time...

And you don't pump the other side, how long are you going between breasts? I havent been pumping the other side b/c I don't need a huge fridge/freezer supply right now but since she's feeding every 2.5/3 hrs I'm concerned about going 5-6 hrs between breasts (and longer during night??)? The LC said as long as it doesn't feel uncomfortable (which it doesn't) then it's fine and my body will adjust. Wanted to see what others are doing??

    We fed from one side at a time because of my oversupply so pumping would have been counterproductive. It look a couple days until all balanced out. It really works great for us. Makes it easier to nurse in public too. No having to re-latch!

    Exactly this. We just do one side at a time and switch to the other side for the next feed.

    Same here and my body has adjusted fine.

    I don't have oversupply issues or anything like that, but have only been feeding from one breast all along. Sometimes if he goes longer than 3 hours, the one breast feels very heavy/full, but no problems so far. I do plan to pump eventually, but I am not now.
