I HATE gory.
I loved The Others.
I don't like scary movies.
The Saw movies especially freak me out
I hate scary movies -- will not watch them.
Jaws is about the upper limit of scary for me lol
i LOVE scary movies, but i'm not sure what my fave is....
really scary: the seventh sign, poltergeist, exorcist, event horizon
scary: the ring, grudge (the first one), into the mouth of madness (however i remember the end being kinda lame), se7en (does that count?), hellraiser, the 6th sense, deliverance (does that count?), jacob's ladder, flatliners, high tension (it's french i think), 28 days
funny "scary" - shaun of the dead, evil dead
yeah...i watch a lot of scary movies.
i can't do gory either.
my favorites are: Psycho (the original), The Haunting (w/ Julie Harris not Catherine Zeta), Halloween (the original), and this year I can't stop watching The Shining.
other fun Halloween movies: Young Frankenstein and Rocky Horror Picture Show.
