Breast milk smells like bad B.O.

I could not figure out what the heck stunk so bad. ?I would smell my armpits, my clothes, my baby and it was not any of that. ?Then my boob dripped all over the place and it hit me.... (the stink and the realization) its my milk. ?To me it smells like BO. ?
Me: 30, DOR with a FSH of 12.5
DH: 31, no issues
4-6/2012 100mg of Clomid + trigger + IUI/TI = BFN
7/2012 150mg of Gonal-f + trigger + IUI = BFN
8/2012 Surprise unmedicated BFP!! Due May 8, 2013

    Seriously?  My breast milk smells like milk.  Nipples have sweat glands ... once in a while I would smell something like BO, but it wasn't my milk, it was sweaty nipples ;)  Maybe that's what your smelling?

    Ohhh... that could be it. ?I am wearing nipple shields to help with sore nipples and it could be making my nipples sweat. ?Hmmmm. I am going to have to try to smell them. Haha!?

    Did you smell the milk or did you smell the milk on the shirt or on a b.pad? It could be spoiled BM.... pads smell like that if left on too long (or at night)

    take a freakin shower and wash your clothes. Milk will smell bad fast if it sits on your clothes and skin for long.

    I have been showering every day and washing my clothes. ?Sad ? I think its what MrsBatty suggested. ?Sweaty nipples with my nipples shields. ?Going to use wipes on them after I feed and pump. ?See if that works.?

    Mine smelled like that the first week and a half.

    edit: I was in the hospital so I think I was sweaty from sitting in the bed all day.

    haha I know.  I almost quit BFing because I couldn't stand the smell.  Everything smells a-ok now though!
