So, this girl Taylor is a good friend of mine! My husband just left for deployment and her husband just got back from deployment and her and I talk on and off...this was our convo tonight...

LOL! youre so lame! girl you shouldnt even be feeling anything yet! everybody i know has worked up until theyre like 3 weeks out from having their baby.Your only what 11 weeks? the most you should be feeling is nauseated in the mornings and sensitivity to smells....lol why are you using this pregnancy as an excuse?

well, its hard to explain what im feeling to someone whos never been in my shoes and felt what im feeling. theres a lot more to pregnancy than you think. and everyones pregnancy is different! Im not using anything as an excuse! My husband told me that I dont need to work, but I do because I want to and why is it such a big deal that i only work part time?

    wow what an *** sorry but I would not be friends with her. You don't need people in your life that are like that towards you. It was just rude and she should know what it feels like to have your husband gone. I'm going to be doing this soon now. My husband goes on orders in 2 weeks he is also in the air force.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.

    I agree with everyone else here in saying she's a *bleep* and I sure wouldn't be calling her a friend.

    I agree with everyone - get rid of her! If she does say something to you again tho, you need to ask her why she is so concerned that you work part-time and what business it is of hers? That is yours and Dh's business. Ugh...I can sympathize though because I am working *very* part-time. 90% of the time I'm a SAHW (which is fairly recent), and I'm amazed at some of the attitudes I get about it. I agree - jealously and just rudeness! UGH! I'm getting really angry for you! Goodluck and keep us posted!

    I don't think she's jealous, I just think she's a dummy.

     

    And FWIW I have a job that I stand up at too, and it's awful.  I'm always sitting down when I can.  For whatever reason, my back hurts and it did not before I was pg.  It's a very valid reason to only work PT.

    THIS! Seriously thinking it's weird that she wanted to see her husband. I blew off plenty of friends when I got to webcam with my DH. That's not even right. She's just a jerk.
