This lady came up to my house with 2 bags. I was standing outside, so I met her before she got to the door. I thought something looked weird. She said "The kids are in the car sleeping" and held the bags out for me to give her candy. I was thinking *you'd better be glad I just got home at 7:30 and my husband's a fuddy duddy so I'm trying to get rid of this candy, or I'd send you packing* The nerve of some people! If your kids are asleep, take them home! They won't know any different.
Do you win mom of the year if you collect the most candy or something? LOL.
Sorry this is a post and run, DH wants some QT...just posted for your entertainment (or appalling) purposes.

Totally agree, although one look at that cute little baby all dressed up and I go all gooey...
Our first TOT-ers of the night weren't dressed up! There was a 5y/o girl, 7 y/o boy and like, 5 adults and the kids weren't even in costume.
I wanted to say 'no costume, no candy' but that was too mean.
Get your kid a costume!
