Childhood PIPs: the day I was adopted

The day my parent's dreams came true.  I wonder when mine will come true?

BFP #1 - 2/1/09-mc 2/5/09 @4wks
BFP #2 - 6/24/09-mc 7/25/09 @8wks
6/09 Dx w/PCOS--Metformin & Progesterone
8/09 Dx w/Compound Hetero MTHFR--Neevo, Metanx & BA
BFP #3 - 1/11/10 - DD1 born 9/16/10 @39w4d, 8lbs 14oz & 20in.
Heparin from BFP to 34wks.
BFP #4 - 10/4/11 - DD2 born 6/2/12 @38w1d, 8lbs 11oz & 21in.
Same med protocol as last time, but heparin continued until delivery.
BFP #5 - 3/30/14, EDC 12/10/14!!
Beta #1-76 (12dpo), Beta #2-238 (14dpo)

    (I also didn't know you were 3-4 yrs younger than me!)

    I just found out that my dh would rather we adopt a sibling for my dd if we're not able to get ku again. (We just had this discussion last weekend ---the "what if" conversation).......

    Did u ever know your birth parents? (You can tell me to butt out if you don't want to share this)

    what a great pic!

    I really need to scan some of my childhood pics in -- there are some great ones!

    m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

    I know my birthmom (and half-siblings) but not my birthdad. I've tried writing to him a few times--my birthmom gave me his address--but with no reply. 

    Here is me with my birthmom and brothers and sister in 2003:

    The backstory: she was 15 when she got pg with me and 16 when I was born.  Her BF left (he was even younger than her) and her parents were not supportive at all. She tried the teen-mom thing for 5 months and decided it would be best for me if she gave me up (and I'm SO thankful for the life she gave me by choosing adoption!).  She got married on my 2nd birthday (not to my dad) and then had 3 more kids in 3 years.  Why oh why coulndn't I have inherited her fertility????  Sheesh.

    Haha, I have no idea!  I was bald until after my 1st birthday, lol!

    Wow. That's awesome. I really admire women/girls that choose adoption. I think it would be the most heart-wrenching decision to ever have to make. I couldn't imagine having to realize that my child would be better off. I'm soooo glad you had a good experience and appreciate that she made that choice for you.

    You'll have the children you're supposed to. I know you will. God will bless you w/what u're supposed to have. ((((hugs)))) Thanks for sharing that w/us!

    What a neat pic. My DH is adopted. His family celebrates his adoption day every year, which also happens to be my Bday. I can only imagine how happy your parents were at that moment, thanks for sharing.

    4 losses (cp Feb 28 09, mc April 9 09 (5w5d), mc Aug 10 09 (7w1d), d&c Apr 12 10 (grew to 6w3d, mc confirmed at 8w5d). RX: Overies PCOS (hormones normal) & Balanced Translocation of Ch. 7 & 13 (40-50% mc risk)

    This is such a sweet picture and story!  My dad is adopted, and one of my close friends at work just adopted her first baby last week!  She is ecstatic.

    Dec 5th is a great day, too...just happens that I share my birthday with your adoption day :)
