Movement cause cramps?

The babies have been going crazy today moving around. They are kicking, rolling, you name it. Can excessive movement cause cramps cause I've had quite a bit today?

It seems to for me - sometimes I get a contraction after the babies have been moving a ton. I would keep tabs on it though and call your doc if necessary - better safe. I typically just drink a ton of water and lay down to see if I can get it all to relax.

I believe that the babies moving can irratate the uterus and cause contractions.

I was told by the OB the more my girls grow the more they are going to trigger contractions.
