She was in her wagon and dropped her pumpkin with the little bit of baby stuff my neighbors made just for her and a few pieces of candy. These freaking jerks started kicking it and taking all of her candy. My H had to go get the pumpkin after they kicked it and they took it all.

Our neighborhood is a great one but people drop of all these kids here to ToT because it is a big one and nice. I almost feel like I don't want to take her ToT here ever again . Don't get me started on the Dads drinking beer ToTing with their kids Ick!

I like a beer but there is a time and place.

That sucks! Your poor DD. What ever happened to kids learning manners? My parents would have read me the riot act if I ever did anything like that as a kid.

I did start to cry

I am lame. I was just so upset for her. How could these little jerks take my sweet little witches candy. I yelled at them did you really just take her candy, she is 1. They just ran off. DH and I walked away but he was like oh man it took ever ounce of control not to push them down and take the candy back. The kids were about 12 or 13 I think.

That is ridiculous! DH would have had to hold me back. How old were these kids? We have similar problems in our neighborhood with people driving their kids there from all over.

Our streets are packed with kids. I didn't see any parents with these kids. I am sure these kids don't even live here.

I would have called the cops. If there are unattended minors running around doing crap like that, there are some parents that need to get some consequences. That's just irresponsible.

I am not kidding you when I tell you there are 1000s of kids in this neighborhood ToTing. The cops wouldn't have been able to figure out who they were and my DH couldn't have restrained them legally.

Ditto this. Every word. My dd LOVED going to people's doors tonight and I think she would have been really sad if that happened! I am really really sorry that that happened to you and DD. Next time, unleash DH on them!

I don't know. It is so sad. Freaking jerks with parents who never taught them to do the right thing even when they are not around.
