What are you packing in your hospital bag?

I was planning on: lots of socks, outfit for me to wear home, outfit for baby to wear home, toiletries, sports bras (i am not bf'ing and I hear that the pressure from sports bras is better than a regular bra), pads, old underwear and snacks. Maybe a pair of pj's and maybe a robe but I do not want to ruin the ones I have. What am I missing or what else are you planning on bringing? When will you have yours packed by?

I packed all that as well. My husband has his own bag with snacks and the camera. also, we have the baby's going home outfit, hat and mits.

oh and we are packed already...we learned from our friend who went early at 35 1/2 weeks to make sure to be prepared

I've heard that snacks, bottled drinks, baby wipes (store-bought are supposedly better than what the hospital provides), maxi-pads, & lip balm are important to bring along.

I backed my bag last weekend, so at 35 weeks. I also added change for the vending machine, lip balm, lotion (since the hosptial can be dry) DH also has his bag and we have a deck of cards and uno in there as well as movies and an ipod.

I should probably start packing!!!! I everything sounds good, I have heard laptop as well if you have one to send out an email to friends, most hospitals have wifi now.

i'm wayyy early but love lurking on posts like this, they get me so excited to be 35 weeks along!!! luckily my dh and i live 3 minutes away from the hospital so i can just send him home if i forget anything
