PP hair loss?

When does this problem start to resolve itself?  It's driving me nuts.  I definitely need a haircut but not sure that will help.  I have never had this problem before and think it's definitely hormone related.

Re: PP hair loss?

  • I hope it ends soon!  For my drain's sake at least.

  • Mine is still going strong.  I read that it should stop by the time the baby is 1 year old (when the resting phase of the current hair growth ends).  Nice, huh?

  • I don't remember when it stopped, but it definitely was at its height between 4 & 7 mos pp.  I haven't had the issue in several mos, so I want to say somewhere between 8 & 9 mos pp?  Right around the time AF came back?
  • Mine is just starting to let up a bit at 10 months PP
  • Ugh...I hate it!  Mine is getting better I think.  I bought a cover for the drain so that I'm not buying Draino every other week!

  • OMG I was thinking the same thing. It is driving me nuts. You would think I was going bald I am losing so much hair and it all over our bathroom floor.

  • I feel like I'm still losing a crazy amount!  It's ridiculous!
  • It was so bad for me up until I just got my hair cut now I'm seeing way less in the drain! ?I'm not sure if it was b/c I got rid of some of my hair, same length but layers or if it's b/c it's starting to get better?
