we have dried up alot since the week of ovulation .. in fact, im shocked at how the time has gone by -- but i have always been the initiator, and now that i feel different, it is bad ...

are any of you girls not hitting the sac as often now that you're pregnant? ... or are you just back in bed as usual, no changes ,, hot & spicy?? like i wish we still were

The word is sex, its ok, you can say it:) And yeah, the frequency of sex around here has def. decreased but I think it is because we both feel a little wary. But when it does happen, its been pretty wonderful. Quality not quantity is the motto for now I guess.

It'll get better... 1st tri is always like that. Actually, yesterday I started feeling like doing it again and we actually had sex 3 times. Then of course DH was nervous that he "hurt the baby"... um, yeah right hun.

Its been pretty hit or miss around here. I had nausea making it impossible to get in the mood, then my boobs were too damn sore then I had a cold...yadda yadda. I have to initiate now because DH usually gets shot down and he finally gave up.

fewf -- im not alone ... last night i woke up so frustrated that i got him up & was all mad about it & i was saying things like "you have to try harder" because i do feel different .. and while i used to feel fat sometimes etc .. now i surprisingly never do ! ha!

im glad im not alone but it really has bothered me & i dont know what to do ..

Ok i feel like a freak because my hormones are out of control and i want it all the time. To make matters worse, my fiance is training for the world championships in brazilian jiu jitsu next week and when he is is training mode he abstains.... from EVERYTHING! its been nearly 3 weeks and I am dying.... ok I lied... he jumped me one nite last week.... but still i hav the urge all the dang time!

my sex drive is way down b/c I feel so sick 24/7, but we still get it in about once ever 7-10 days. Not nearly enough. Hopefully I'll get my energy & sex drive back in the 2nd tri.

We defiantly have sex less now. We used to be the couple that had is almost every day and now we don't. But that is ok with both of us. We do lots of cuddling still and we have the days where my hormones are raging and we have great sex, but if I am having m/s or feeling tierd or he is not feeling it it's all good, no pressure. But the good thing is that when I am feeling it we have great sex still....and it will get better!

Then this week with the bleeding issues, we were told to refrain for a week and find "alternatives" to sex. LOL But we both are wondering how we will wait another 5 days.

I want to have sex, but if hubs waits until too late in the evening I'd rather have sleep. Plus my boobs have started to really ache. That takes a lot of the fun out of it.

Ok I'm sooo glad that someone brought this up. Before pregnancy, I had a pretty active sex life. Now that I'm preggers, I don't even want to think about it at all!! The BF has been really understanding but I can count on 1 hand how many times we've done it since I found out. I really hope this lets up and I get my drive back by the second trimester (or sooner lol).

Before pregnancy, we averaged around 2-4 times/week.

First tri: averaged probably once or so/week. I was really, really sick for a lot of the first tri.

Second tr: still about once or so/week.

Third tri: we're getting back up to at least twice/week.

Haha, I almost posted the exact same thing!

We found out when I was 5 weeks, and had no sex in any way, shape, or form until about week 8. I didn't enjoy it while it was happening, and even after I rushed to the bathroom and puked for the remainder of the night. So, of course I was a little too nervous to jump back into it.

But now? I'm all for it. I've been somewhat like a puberty stricken teenage boy.

We've had sex just once since the BFP, but as that was only on Tuesday, I wouldn't say we're in a slump just yet. Even normally, though, DH and I are once-a-weekers-- we just amped things up around O time. And to be fair, I should say that I'm the once-a-weeker-- DH would have sex 3 times a day if I were up for it Stick out tongue

We don't have sex as much as DH or I would want but between DS, morning sickness, and DH's crazy work schedule it isn't easy to come by. With all that said our average is three times a week, we would like it to be more frequent.

my hubs is all worried that i wont feel right or something & its so annoying -- he should at least try -- he & I used to have sex about 3 times a day (looking back, I have no clue how),,, but now its so rare because he wont initiate,,, and we have had a rocky past with this so its probably not helping .. ugg .. but it is nice to see other with hyper sex lives, and under-active ones too... im hoping i will get psycho & just let loose on him ,, who cares about that kind of mood swing right? !

We had sex the day before my BFP--and not since. My boobs are so sore, it hurts if he even lightly brushes them, and I'm out by 10:30 every night. Plus, I have just not been feeling sexy at all. I'm hoping this changes once we're out of first tri.

Oh, and last night my husband admitted that he's worried about jostling the baby. Awwww.

After my first appointment (5w3d) I was put on pelvic rest. A week later the doc gave us the okay for sex but my m/s hit. I couldn't have sex once m/s hit because I could barely sit still without needing to vomit. This week my m/s has let up but I'm not stuck with an awful cold. So it's been just over a month since the last time we had sex. I hate it!!! My DH is so freaking amazing though because he is being very understanding and patient.

Let me tell you... once this cold is gone... he's mine!

we've decreased much to my husbands dismay! i'm having a lot of round ligament pain and it gets so bad i'm in tears by the time sex is done! it's awful! there are a few positions that are okay, but they are not his favs so that stinks! but yes, we're seriously lacking in the hot and spicy region!

I think DH and I have had sex about three times since BFP. Between the nausea and the sore boobs and the exhaustion it's been difficult to get into it. Plus, I would get really bad cramps afterwards which creeped me out.

I've suggested different positions (spoon) and other things to DH, but he can't climax in that position so he doesn't really want to start something he can't finish.

I feel bad, but at the same time - I'm just not. in. the. mood.

I'm hoping second tri will be better.
