Here's my ghost story.

When I was 18 I nannied for a family with 5 boys.  I needed the day off for something so the grandpa came over to watch the kids.  The 4 oldest were in school so it was just Grandpa and the 20 month old.  I came home later that evening (I lived in) and there was an ambulance and several police cars out front.

Apparently the Orkin man called to tell Grandpa he was coming over in 15 minutes to spray the house.  When he arrived, no one answerd the door.  He could hear the 20 month old playing and saying "Come in!" or "Hello!" or something, so he ended up going intot he house and found the grandpa dead.  If he hadn't gone over there, the boys in school would have come home and found him dead.

Anyways, 2 weeks later we were in the parents bathroom getting the boys ready for bed and the 20 month old looked up to the ceiling and started laughing and saying "Papa!" for grandpa.  Then covered his eyes like it was bright and he was squinting.  And said "Ok!  Bye bye! Love you!"

We both burst into tears.....it was cool.

    awww that is kind of sweet in a way.  I totally believe babies see things like that because they are so innocent and people haven't told them it can't be real.

    OMG! How freaky. I'm glad the Orkin man showed up before the boys found him. Did they say how long he'd been dead when the paramedics arrived? Just trying to figure out how long the 20 month old was alone with his dead grandfather.

    It wasn't long at all.  The orkin man had called 15 minutes before he arrived to say he was on his way over...and then when arrived the grandfather was dead.

    The Grandpa had heart issues and they said whatever happened, it happened SUPER quick and suddenly...like no pain..just happened.  He was found sitting in the rocking chair with a book open on his lap.  So it wasn't like he was struggling to get a phone or anything...He just passed quickly and quietly.

    That's good to know, for both of their sakes. I could not imagine. And, the bathtub sighting is totally cool!!
