Baking cupcakes, have a ?

can I mix a can of pumpkin into my boxed yellow cupcake mix? and then I wanna put cream cheese frosting on top?! sounds good, right??!!

    Someone posted a recipe like this the other day.  One box of yellow cake mix, 1 15 oz. can pumpkin, eggs and oil (but not water) for the cake mix, 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice.  Put into muffin tins and bake 22 to 26 minutes.  For the frosting, mix together 1 8 oz. package cream cheese and 1 cup powdered sugar.  They are yummy!
