Shelly
took a turn for the worse yesterday. Her kidneys shut down and her body
went into sepsis. She was rushed into emergency surgery and they
drained three liters of fluid from her abdomin and put in a new
ileostomy. The pressure relief helped her kidneys which are now
functioning again. However, her heart rate is still abnormally high and
her blood pressure is low. Also her heart beat is irregular.

functioning again. However, her heart rate is still abnormally high and
her blood pressure is low. Also her heart beat is irregular.
She is currently on a respirator and is being kept unconscious by sedation. Her condition is now much better than it was yesterday, however she is still very sick and in danger.
