1st Trimester

I know i Shouldn't be Worried...

I am almost 7 weeks and I havent really felt any ms yet. I know I shouldn't worry because some people never get it at all, and my doctor even told me that it is most common during week 8 and 9 to start but I can't help but worry since so many people on here seem to have it! I mean I have other symptoms such as HORRIBLE acne and constant fatigue but no ms. I know I shouldn't wish it on myself but I feel like then I would feel more at ease. Anyone else around the same week as me and not feel this way yet? Or past this time and didnt feel this way yet when you were at 6/7 weeks? I guess I'm just looking for some people with similar situations who are having a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Re: I know i Shouldn't be Worried...

  • I never once felt sick and I'm almost 20 weeks with a healthy girl.

something like 25% never experience any m/s. Be happy you are one of the lucky ones :D

  • I haven't really had any m/s either. I've had times where I felt a little sick but that's about it. But my breasts have grown like half a size. And I'm a pretty solid D cup. They don't need to get any bigger!
  • I didnt' really have m/s- little nausea that felt more like extreme hunger in the mornings.  I thought I needed to have more m/s too- but baby's fine!!  :)

  • you shouldn't wish m/s on yourself :-)  mine didnt appear (w/both pregnancies) until about week 7...and w/DD it didn't go away until she was born;  DS seems to be taking after her.  Enjoy not being sick...I'm jealous

  • Be happy you aren't experiencing M/S, it stinks.

    H&H 9 months.

  • I don't have m/s either and I was worried too until I has my first u/s at 9w and saw my Bean moving around. Now I'm just glad everything's fine I don't have to go through the m/s.

  • The acne and fatigue are your symptoms - let that reassure you!

I haven't had any m/s, either.  A touch of nausea a few times, but nothing big at all.  I thought I had m/s 2 weeks ago, but it was just side effects from the Tamiflu.

  • Never had it -no worries!
  • no m/s here! I have felt a little sick at times, but nothing unbearable.

I have had 2 u/s (high risk) so far, and go in Wed. for another and so far, everything looks perfect.

The only symptoms I have felt is the sore boobs, and the extreme exhaustion. And let me tell you.... As tired as I am, there is NO question in my mind that I am pregnant lol.

Try not to worry (I know, hard) and I assure you, unless you experience (extreme) cramping or (heavy, red) bleeding, it is safe to assume everything is OK.

  • I know some people wish for m/s just so they can feel pregnant, but if you want to wish for something, wish for heartburn or something else. It is absolutely MISERABLE to have m/s and to feel sick all the time. I have had to wear my SeaBands to bed a few times so that I could have enough relief to sleep. If you don't have m/s, thank your lucky stars!
  • i feel slightly nauseas at certain times of the day but other than that I have not yet vomitted. I was worried at firsst too....try to relax and enjoy this special time.
  • I never once has M/S with DD.  Enjoy!

  • I haven't had sore boobs or any morning sickness. I feel grateful, not afraid that something is "wrong". Some women don't get m/s and some do.  I've had 2 u/s and my baby is developing great.  Try not to worry, just be grateful that your not sick.

  • I've only officially been sick once.  Other than that I get a little nausea when I haven't eaten for a few hours.  I was worried too because my mom describes awful m/s, but everything has been going well.  Congrats on little m/s.
  • I had a few days of sore boobs, feel tired all the time, am bloated like a Macy's Thanksgiving Day balloon & feel ravenous about 3-4 times a day.  I had more "m/s" when I was just coming off BCP!  ;)  Feel the same way you do, though...not that I want m/s (believe me, & sorry for those of you dealing with it now!), but every time I go to the bathroom I'm still crossing my fingers that AF hasn't arrived yet!  I really am trying to enjoy this, but until that first u/s, I am not going to be able to feel like things are okay in there.

  • This is my 3rd pg.  I've never had nausea in any of them.

  • I have not experienced m/s once-I am really trying to embrace it (now) rather than worry b/c I am seeing/reading about all these women who also don't have m/s either and have perfectly healthy pregnancy's.

I guess what I am trying to say is don't associate sickness with the viability of your pregnancy....easier said than done I know! I am telling myself this as I write! :)
