TTC After a Loss

uuuugggghhhhh

So I am new ... posted a few times last week. I know most of you do not like new gals who post rarely, but I need to vent!

I am having one of those totally irritated nights. I am having a few drinks with DH and wish I wasn't! I should be 20 weeks pregnant. Instead today is 10 weeks since my D&C.

I am ready to be able to try again and my effin cycles are jacked. So irritating.  Happy Halloween weekend......

Re: uuuugggghhhhh

  • I remember you, mainly b/c I SWEAR I know you from somewhere (I'm sure I don't, but your s/n is so damn familiar)

I'm sorry you're irritated, it's not fair AT ALL. I mean, the least that could happen is you have regular cycles so you don't have THAT battle to deal with!

  • We are all there with you on wishing where we should have been or where we want to be now, it's hard but it does get easier and the cycle should get better.

ps I recognize your name and it not that we don't like new girls but the more we get to know each other and the more support you show, the more you will get in return.

It isn't newbies that post rarely  that is the issue...everyone was new at some time...well maybe not Texas.  She thinks she invented the bump(JK Texas.  The problem is the people who don't get to know anyone and then shove their BFP happiness down everyone's throat.  Or even worse someone who hasn't suffered a loss and feels the need to grace us with their presence. (See Prayers on MC/PL from yesterday).

This is the place to vent and find support.  There is also a fair bit of knowledge about TTC and IF floating around here.  Very few are medical professionals but they at least can tell you something to ask your DR.   I joined the bump with my last BFP looking for PG information.  There are still things I don't know even though I have a healthy bio child (3 oldest are adopted) and 4 MCs.  I only lurked for a while after I learned of the last MC and it took me a while to get up the courage to post.

    PAL/PGAL Welcome

  • Thanks ladies .... I am going to try and post more! The support helps, especally on these crappy feeling nights.

  • Have you had AF since the m/c and if so how many days is your cycle now? or is there something else that is making you cycles jacked?

It took 7.5 weeks for me to start, and now I totally feel like I am pms-ing 2 weeks later. I can just tell my hormones ae out of whack, (breaking out, moody, emotional) and know my body well enough to know something is not right.....

  • I think my hormones are still out of whack from my m/c in early July but it is definitely getting better, I was broken out all over my face especially my forehead and I never have acne.  And well the moody and emotional will be with you for quite a while.

  • Well, I guess it is good to know, but it freakin' sucks! Oh well ....at least it is the weekend!
  • I'm fairly new too, and around the same timeline as you-- just shy of 12 weeks past my D&C.  I wish I could say that by now I have stopped thinking about where I "should have" been in my pregnancy, but maybe that just doesn't happen.  Anyway, I hope that your body starts to regulate soon, and that your stay here is short and sweet!
