They must have different lines?  I have seen Tykes, Child of Mine, and Just One Year.  There may be others.  But have you noticed a difference in the quality?

    Child of Mine is at Walmart, Just One Year is at Target. These two are about the same quality.. Although I think the Target ones tend to be a little cuter.

    REAL carters stuff (that you'd get at Macy's, Kohls, BRU, or a Carters store) is definitely higher quality than the other brands.

    Ohh, that makes sense.  We were given some of each.  Although the tykes were used, so maybe an older line?  The tykes are really good quality, it seems as good as the real carters.  I would have continued to buy them if I found where they were sold.  I have noticed the other 2 seemed thinner and even fit a bit different, but I wasn't sure if it was just me.

     i think child of mine fits skinny babies the best. i love love love carters.  I loved the party dresses for little girls.
