i am on team green so i don't know for sure yet. i know what we would do if it's a boy but what are you doing if it's a girl. r u having a naming? what will it be like? my family is religious and they do a quick thing at the synagogue that is just quick. i think it's unfair that the boy gets a big bris with a party like atmosphere. So what are you doing for the girls?
Re: jewish girls
Wow. DH's family (Jewish) hasn't said anything about that and my poor Catholic brain is a little overwhelmed.
Thanks for bringing this up.

Hi-
Catholic Lurker here... :-)
I just wanted to say that I went to a fantastic baby naming a few weeks ago for a friends daughter... She was 6 months old... It gave her mom plenty of time to get everything arranged and set up... they had the ceremony at the temple and then a reception after at a restaurant for those who attended... It was great, small and quaint but very special...
I just remembered that the Rabbi I've been talking with sent me a link about how different people do namings. You may find it helpful.
