We give 1/2 tab 2X a day. I have a syringe that I put 1/2 in and then suck up some water to dissolve it. Then squirt it little by little into the back of his cheek. If you squirt it all in at once he pushes some back out. Then I give him his bottle to wash it down.
We are also starting to back him down to 1X a day to start weaning him off of it.
I give the whole tab dissolved in the morning before her bottle.
At BRU there is a medication kit that has 3 things in it...a dropper, a syringe and a tablespoon. All 3 have ml markings on the side. The syringe is what I use to give it. I take a 1/2 capful off a bottle water (which is about 2.5 ml a full cap is 5 ml) and let it dissolve (about 1 minute) then I put DD in a football type hold and squirt it a little at a time in her mouth. Try to move the syringe to get the little balls of medication down to the bottom. If you wait to long, sometimes it clumps up and clogs it, but I suck up more water to loosen it up. The syringe only holds 3 ml total, so sometimes I go ahead and give the rest of the 2.5 ml of water to wash it down.
This is what has worked well for us...she's been on it since 2 wks of age.
