pumpkin or cake?
So the local bakery in my hometown makes these amazing pumpkin and apple squares that you can only get this time of year, and I havent had them in a couple years since I dont live there anymore. Would it be weird to have theses pumpkin and apple squares instead of a traditional shower cake because I hate frosting.

Whatever you want...it's your shower. We're making "decorative" cakes and then serving sheet cakes.
