Because it's slow: Halloween plans?

Do you have any plans?  Trick or treating?  Handing out candy?  Get together with friends?  Are you dressing up?  Share!

My answer: we're going to dress up as a family (insert awe here), and we will be going to a friend's house for dinner and dessert.  We may play a few games and/or watch The Great Pumpkin.

  • I have to work. Booo! BUT it's at the local haunted house so yes yes I will be dressed up! Smile DH's aunt is coming up to see DS so that's what we're doing during the day. Might go to the mall and have DS be in the kiddie parade.

  • The kids are dressing up.  I am not.  I am not sure what DH is doing.  He did last year and was the only adult in the group in costume.  I think that might have made him more leery about dressing up.  We will meet at a friend's house and then trick or treating as a group through our neighborhood.  We do a short loop about one block long, but it takes the kids an hour to walk it.  Oh yeah...we are also carving our pumpkins earlier in the day and letting DD have a candied apple for the first time.

  • Taking DS trick or treating. We're not dressing up, just him. We did a whole big party last year and will likely do so next year but this year we're in limbo as we close on our house next month.

Oh and our town is having a halloween fest after TOTing complete with hay rides.

  • Trick or treating with the neighbor but that's about it.  We generally don't get a lot of kids on our street (we have a few good neighbors but the rest are kid haters) so I will leave some candy on the porch in case someone comes by while we're gone.  We usually come home to a still full bowl though.

DH & I won't dress up - I've never loved Halloween.  I just get into now for the kids.  =)

  • Trick-or-treating with family.  DH and I are going to a Masquerade Ball tonight, so we are wearing masks.  DH says he will wear his mask and cape tomorrow for t or t...lol

  • We'll be giving out candy.  Last year we had 80 kids.  After trick or treating hours, we always have chili.  YUM.

  • We will be dressing up our dog and going to walk around the neighborhood just to see the kids and do some people watching as we get a little exercise. Free entertainment! We're not trick or treating, but sometimes people will call us over and give our dog a biscuit.

We don't pass out candy because people just don't come down our street that much (dead end due to a creek).
