Please Help!: Nanny/Daycare in NVA

Hello all!

 I'm a new mom living in Alexandria VA. I'm desparetly looking for a daycare who will take a newborn part time (3 days a week) or a nanny. I'm having a hard time finding either. Any reccommendations would be GREATLY appreciated! I'm at a loss! Thank you so much.

    Have you tried Infant Toddler or the nanny share forum on DCUrbanmom.com?  Part time care in a center is much harder to find.

    Good luck.  I used Infant Toddler and was surprised how fast I found care with someone I both like and trust.  The forums on DC Urban moms is packed with info AND they have a great search function.  Something I really wish the knot would improve vastly on.
