Just got a call this morning from our insurance company that Annabelle has been approved for the shots. I'm really excited to hear this. DH and I were worried that she missed the deadline because of being born at 33 weeks, but nope the Insurance company came through for us.
From what I've read on our insurance is that Theo is automatically covered for his gestational age. But when I asked our doc, they had no idea how he would get them. They must not have many RSV babies at that clinic. They're supposed to call me back today. If I don't hear by 4, I"m going to call them.
jmartyn- my doctor's office doesn't do the shots themselves, so we go to a clinic. It's basically a home nursing agency. They rent out space and do the clinics on Saturdays. Robbie's in and out in about 15 minutes, and it's all Synagis, nothing else. So the place isn't filled with sick kids or anything.
Re: synagis approval too...
that's great news!
