I'm starting to have a lot more lower back pain and somedays I'm just so uncomfortable. I figure it's typical. However, my friend (who has never been pg but it studying to be a MW) suggested a maternity belt.
I work at a desk all day, so my biggest problem I think has more to do with sitting for long & it seems a maternity belt meant for women who stand a lot.
Thoughts? Anyone using one? Waste of money?

Re: Maternity Belt - Advice please!
I sit most of the time too as I am going to school from home. I wear a maternity support belt all the time and my back and shoulders love me for it.
Also, you can buy one on your own or if you have an OB appointment soon, talk to your OB. They may be able to write you a prescription for it and you may be able to have your insurance cover all or part of it.
I have one that i use when my back is sore.... I am a SAHW so im not necesarily up on my feet all the time. It definately relieves my back pain because it takes the support of my belly off of my back.
