I had really wanted a peg perego stroller and had looked at one at BRU. It was way overpriced and didn't come with a car seat. My mom was pushing for an evenflo travel system because of the price point. I ended up bringing my mom and DH to BRU with me when I registered and we compaired the two strollers side by side and they both agreed that the peg perego was a better stroller, however they both agreed that the price point was a little high. We ended up compairing the chicco cortina against the even flo and we went with that one. Yes it was more expensive, but it did come with a car seat, unlike the peg perego and was much lighter and earsier to manoever than the evenflo.
I'm super excited because someone bought it off my registry!!
No travel system here--Peg Perego 30/30 car seat and Bumbleride Indie stroller. We may borrow a friend's Peg Perego stroller (part of her travel system) for the first few months, though.
We got the Graco Snugride in Pippin and the Uppa Baby Vista in sage, but color of the stoller doesn't matter when you put the car seat frame on the UBV. We have the stroller, but still need the car seat.

Chose not to go with a travel system. It was just too big and here in NY, bigger is not necessarily better in the stroller dept. Instead we got the Graco Snugride in Lemongrass, the Graco stroller frame and the Maclaren Quest Sport for when he's a little older (small as it is it can hold babies as young as 3 months).
We got the Chicco Cortina travel system. After 2 hours in BRU, I found it was the easiest to fold/unfold, and get the carrier in and out. The carseat rating on it was a huge factor too. I haven't actually gotten to use the system yet, but I have a million friends that have it too and they absolutely love it.
We registered for the snugride32 and the graco metrolite stroller. I did not want to big, bulky, heavy stroller to lug around so I opted against a travel system. I went this way because the car seat still snaps on the stroller, but it's more like an umbrella stroller is size and weight. We'll get more use out of it than the frame.
We pre-ordered the new Baby Jogger City Select. Was going to get the Uppa Baby Vista, but when we saw the videos of the BJCS from the Las Vegas Baby convention we changed our minds.
It's supposed to be available mid to late December. Just in time!
none. i found it was more affordable to get a convertable carseat that will last up to toddler age and register for a seperate stroller that is MUCH cheaper. combined it is only a little more than the $200 travel system we had been registerd for but the car seat will last a lot longer.
Maxi Cosi Foray stroller with Maxi Cosi Mico Infant Seat.... it was the most affordable non-traditional travel system out there. We wanted a stroller similar to the Bugaboo without the cost and it fit the bill. Also because it folds up pretty small... which was a concern before we decided to trade in our car for a wagon.

we were going to get a travel system but ended up getting the snugrider stroller that just holds a snugride carseat. Its very light and I am glad we went with that.
We're registered for the Chicco Cortina too. I forget the color name though. We liked it because after we went to BRU and tried folding up the Graco, we found that it didn't lock and didn't like that aspect. The Chicco is a little more expensive, but I like the features better.
I also registered for the Chicco Cortina Sahara Travel system...DH and I played around with it in BRU and thought it was really easy to fold up and pull the seat in and out of...plus while we were there I would say about 3 couples came up to us with the same system and raved about it.
We got the Uppababy Vista in Red. I love this system b/c while it still has lots of options - car seat, regular seat, bassinet, etc - its not as bulky as some of the other travel system options. The main reason we chose it is because if/when we have another baby, we don't need to buy another stroller - it has an additional seat attachment that you can buy. It hasn't come yet but super excited to get it!

We are getting the Chicco Cortina Travel System in Discovery. We chose it because it was lighter than some of the other ones at the store and we liked the design/colors of the Discovery line. I am also registered for a baby jogger for when the baby gets older.

Re: Which travel system are you getting?
Graco SafeSeat Infant Car Seat - Birkshire with the
Graco MetroLite Stroller - Birkshire
It got good reviews, Graco is a good company and i like the pattern a lot.
I opted against a travel system - I'm just not a fan of huge strollers. I got:
a graco snugride
a jogging stroller that holds the snugride
a maclaren for when she is out of the snugride and I LOVE it.
