The same thing happened to me a few months ago. It turned out that for whatever reason my period was just 2 weeks late. If you're concerned you can go get another brand, and if your period has still not come take another one in a week or call your doctor.
Did you use a dgital one? I used first response digital.
Ditto this. I did 3 tests. A dollar store one, a First Response Early Response (FRER) and a digital and the Clear Blue digital (or any digital for that matter) was really the best.

It took a week and a half after missing my period to get a positive pregnancy test. Before that, I kept getting negatives. I'm not sure what's up with that, but that's my story.
I really liked the Clear Blue digitals. I like that it's either yes or no- there's no trying to figure out if there's a line or not. I even ended up with a super early positive- 9dpo

I have to ditto Renee. WIth the Clear Blue Easy Digital and the First Response Digital I got my BFP at only 10 dpo. They say it takes 3 min to get the results, but my "Pregnant" popped up in 30 seconds. Good luck testing!
Different tests register different amounts of HCG. You can look on the package to see. Some won't register till much later. Peeonastick.com rates them and gives info such as amount of HCG needed to get a positive result. Hope that helps.
I used the EPT, and it worked and it was a little over a week before my missed period. Even my OB/GYN said that it is the best one out there. Just my suggestion

REALLY kgwillia? I'm hoping this is the case!! Did you talk to your dr. about why that happened?
I didn't even know there were digital ones.
This!
Also, ditto PP about CBE digital tests. I used one of those too
Make sure you're testing with first morning urine. Could be positive but your urine wasn't concentrated enough with the hormone.
