Taught DH how to swaddle

The cats declined to cooperate, so we used a Pooh Bear & a receiving blanket.  DH did well, but seeing the little wrapped up, pretend burrito baby was a little too real.  We also practiced burping (rub, don't pat newborns) and reviewed CPR.

We'll save diaper practice for another day....

    Wow you are good.  I could use a swaddle class myself.  I plan to take full advantage of the nurses' knowledge at the hospital!

    How cute. 

    I think DH is going to teach me to swaddle! He learned in Daddy Boot Camp and he said he was good at it... I don't know how. :)

    My DH was always the better swaddler- I think it helped that his hands are bigger and could really get a grasp on the material. He was always proud of his "burrito" technique as he called it :)
