Brown spotting, but everything ok (phew!)

Had a bad night. Got home from work and noticed the faint brown spotting. My m/c in May started out with brown spotting, but I was able to reassure myself slightly because the spotting with the m/c was more noticeable.

I work in an OB/GYN office, so as soon as I got to the office this morning, I used a doppler to find the heartbeat. Being so early, I know I might not find it and need a doc to do an u/s, but instead of bothering them right off, I tried to find it, and I did!!!

Still nice and strong, and so reassured! I will now be bringing a doppler home every night and weekend!

Now to try and figure out where the spotting is coming from and why??......

    so glad you can hear the heartbeat! i know spotting is scary, but i commend you for trying to stay calm and reassuring yourself. as far as where the spotting is coming from, i say call your doc and see what they want to do. sometimes they make you wait til it gets heavy or if it doesn't stop, since it could very well be from your ute expanding and the placenta forming. othertimes they'll say come in to make sure it's not an infection or anything like that. keep us updated!
