What is everyone planning to do for Halloween this weekend with their kids?

What are the ages of your kid (s)?

  • My DH's company has an event at D&B for the kids in the early morning/afternoon. Then in the evening we may take DD to either Discovery Green or another neighborhood gathering.

I may have DD go to one house for Trick or Treating for a photo op. :)

    DD is 19 mos.

  • Not sure what we're doing during the day but from 4 p.m. on our street is having a block party which will lead into the trick or treating hours, which hopefully will mean a late night, then in turn, him sleeping in for the time change the next morning Smile.  Sorry that was more than you wanted to know, I'm sure....lol.

That's cool what your Dh's company is doing.

  • We are having a little party for the kiddos - dinner at 5, decorate and eat cookies/cupcakes then a couple games before we trick or treat the neighborhood.  I'll have Aidan (20 months), my niece (2.5) and a little cousin (almost 9) staying with me that night and I think seven other little ones from 1-6yrs in attendance.  Hope it isn't too chaotic!
  • One of my neighbors who is in my neighborhood playgroup is having a little party at her house, and then we're all going to go trick-or-treating.  DD is 20 months.  I'm so excited b/c this is her first real Halloween!  She had a cold last year and was a bit too young (I probably would have taken her out in the stroller in her costume if she hadn't been sick), so I'm super excited this year to take her out.

  • We are having a block party so we will take the kids trick or treating around our section.

Jamican - is your block party in your section?  We will actually be in Cabot Cove (my Mother's section).

  • One of my playgroup friends invited us over to their house for the afternoon/evening. Our DHs will be able to meet, and Natalie and her daughter can play together (they love each other...so cute).

We might go to the Princeton Halloween Parade tomorrow evening. And the entire playgroup is having a party at the park on Saturday morning that I will probably take Natalie to. I've never been so busy with activities for Natalie...I love it!

We'll go to a local church's fall festival and then posibly our church's bonfire.  But we'll see how long they last.

  • We are trick or treating. My son is 8 and I learned over the last week that I get to take both nieces (ages 2 and 8) and nephews (ages 3 and 12) along. I'm going to enlist DH to help with the herd tomorrow night. I'm entirely way too pregnant to corral 5 kids by myself.
