So the baby has definitely dropped in the last week or so. I haven't yet had the crazy pressure that people talk about really. All of a sudden though I'm getting sort of waves of pressure down in my cervix area, kinda of on my bladder as well (making me feel like I have to pee sometimes). Anyone feel this? Does it mean anything may be happening or just baby moving, getting into position? I've started feeling crampy in my lower abdomen and back a few times a day now but I've never felt anything like a contraction. My Dr. doesn't do internals until 39-40 weeks so it's just weird having no real idea of whether I'm moving towards anything....(although they tell me no one can really predict it at all anyway). I just can't handle all this uncertainty:) TIA for any thoughts.
Re: waves of pressure down in cervix area...
yup, i have that all the time. i definitely think its related to the baby dropping. i started having it around 35 weeks and when we went in for our 36 week ultrasound the doctor said the baby was very low. its definitely a weird sensation. sometimes when she is moving for extended periods, it is really intense waves of pressure and internal pain. and then the feeling like you have to pee all the time. that's a fun one.
