I forgot to update you on last night! We went to dinner at Avo in Mountain Brook. I'd never heard of it, but it's been here for about 9 months. They serve California/Alabama food - interesting. The food was delish and I can't really choose whether it was Cali and/or Bama style, but I loved it.

What about Calabama style! LOL! I've never heard of it either but glad you had an awesome time. I love surprises! What did you guys eat?

We got seared scallops to start and both ended up with pork chop topped with apple butter on top of polenta w/ golden raisins and grilled zucchini. I was too stuffed for dessert, but of course by the time I got home was starving. This kid gets hungry a lot!
