in North Carolina Babies
i was filing dh's weekly claim today and it said there are 2 weeks left of his benefits.  how do we apply for an extension??  or what happens next?  he has been on it since may... so 23 or so weeks?

    Just keep filing. He will receive a determination in the mail as to whether or not he was approved for the extension. If nothing has changed in his status, chances are it will be approved.

    ditto hughes. I am actually just finishing with my 1st extension and have 2 weeks left on it and then should be approved for the 2nd extension. Unless DH has turned down a job or something then he should be okay to get the extension. My first unemployment went December to June and my 1st extension went from mid june till now. good luck!
