Pregnant after a Loss

Sharp pains on Right side...

kept me up ALL night long last night! They were the same pains yesterday! I haven't had anything today! All my cramping has gone away from earlier this week!

I've been pregnant before...but seriously...I don't remember ANY of this! haha

Anyone else get these on and off? Is it really RLP? or should I be concerned?

Re: Sharp pains on Right side...

  • If you get it just lying still, I don't think it is RLP.  I wouldn't really be concerned, but I would tell your doctor since it seems painful and recurring.  I am surprised to hear something is keeping you up all night and you aren't in the 3rd tri yet... I am sure you remember that fun that is yet to come.

Where is the pain?  My sister had sciata (sp?) which is when the uterus/baby presses directly on a nerve.  She had to be monitored, keep her activities very restrained (bedrest for the lat 2 mo) and it was terribly painful at the end (but it all worked out).  Sometimes there are other things like that and it is best to know the reason for the pain.  H&H!

Fortunate to be a SAHM to my 3 musketeers (5/2006, 5/2010 & 12/2011). Soy & dairy free for the 3rd and final time. Lilypie Kids Birthday tickers Lilypie Second Birthday tickers Lilypie First Birthday tickers imageimage

It didn't just happen when I was laying down.  It happened when I got up from the couch and was bending over for something! It's in the front almost where my stomach and hip meet...but low around the pelvic.  I don't have it today...the only other thing I can think of is I had Ovarian cysts and I wonder if one ruptured.

I remember the 3rd Tri and definitely not looking forward to it...I need my sleep! I just couldn't get comfortable from the sharp pains!  Thank you for the advice tho! Maybe I'll give the doc a call tomorrow and ask what they think about it!
