Has anyone purchased this? Here is the link... What do you think about it in a girl's nursery? We plan to use it through her HS years, so want something that will grow w/her and not be too childish.

I don't like white furniture, and DH and I love modern black/white clean decor. I am using the PBK G is for Giraffe bedding as DH was dying to mix in some sort safari theme...

it has baby pink, white and grey in it. We plan to do everything else in the nursery in all white (curtains, glider, etc) and some tiny hints of baby pink, giraffes, and silver accents in some spots. I am going for shabby chic/elegant, but not too old looking. WDYT??
Re: Munrie Savannah Collection?
I love Munrie and am hoping to see it in person or find a good deal on it (I can wish right?!?!?). I'm having a girl too, and while I like that, if you want something she can use for a LONG time then I'd go w/something more traditional. Then you can use decor and bedding to make it more girly or fit her style as she gets older.
JMO.
My mother bought this crib as a gift for our LO. The white isn't a pure white, it leans more toward off white, which I like. It gives it a nice antique feel to it. We opted for crystal knobs instead of the metal drawer pulls because the metal drawer pulls look really old fashioned. It reminded me of my grandma's bedroom furniture.
Other than that I'm in love with it and can't wait for the furniture to be delivered!
I agree with this. It's beautiful furniture but it fairly feminine. We got the Munire, Urban in Espresso and I LOVE it!
