Ok ladies, I know this is crazy but, I attempted to shave the area i have not seen in months!!!! Not only did it look like a weed wacked, but my husband happend to come in afterwords and couldn't help him self and laugh a me!!! Lord help me.... I was sick and tired of the that area feeling over grown, i was desperate:( Anyone else have the same promblem????
Re: To shave or not shave, That is the Question????
Once I could no longer see down there, I had DH do the trimming with his trimmer
I could shave the sides blindly, and he would trim the middle for me (like a landing strip, lol)

I feel like I'm in the minority here, but I'm letting it go until everything is all healed up postpartum. I had a bad experience trying to manuver myself in a way to get down there a couple weeks ago, so I've just given up.
Besides, I'm sure the doctor and nurses have seen worse, or, if not, it can't be any worse than what they have already seen!
I'm still not giving up on the legs those. They aren't going down without a fight!!

I can't do this because it starts to itch SO bad when the hair is growing back. So far, I don't have a problem getting it done without being able to see as well. I guess I'll try a mirror when I get even bigger.
This. I finally broke down after weeks of letting it go and it wasn't that bad.
I'm with you, Sticky! It's one of those things where I tell myself "The docs and nurse have to have seen worse things than this!"
Ditto. It works well and I agree - I am too hot/itchy right now and have to be closely trimmed to be comfy. Ordinarily I wouldn't care but I can't deal right now!

I can't see it or reach, so I have DH do all the maintenance these days. It's working out pretty well and he's happy.
I'm with you both. I still shave my legs and under arms, but the va-jay-jay can wait. I'm sure the docs are not offended, shoot it's clean that's all that matters, lol.

You're not alone! I'm doing the same thing. I must say, it's pretty liberating not having to worry about shaving and trimming down there. I don't have to battle ingrown hairs! I figure this is the way my body is supposed to be and I don't think the midwife and the nurses are going to be judging me.

I tried shaving blind...it scared me.
I tried the nifty little personal groomer...it was still tricky, and the results were very weedwhacker-esq
Finally I tried Nair. It is the shiz-nit, and I think I may keep using it even after I can see my own junk again.
(bonus: Apparently my husband *really* digs the bare look, which means lots of extra "perks" for me..woot!)
