Weird AF - Anyone experience this? TMI

My period started last Thursday just as it normally does when I have my week off from bcps. It lasted until Tuesday (just like it normally does) and then yesterday there was nothing. About thirty minutes ago, cramps started again and I'm now bleeding again. And not just spotting, but I just passed a fairly large clot.

I've stopped taking my bcp and started charting to TTA. I'm wondering if this is because I don't have the synthetic hormones in my system suddenly. It's just strange and my body has never done anything like this. Anyone else have this happen on or off bcp?

    So you normally would have started a new pack of BCP this last Sunday, but didn't, right?  I think that's probably pretty normal then.  Your body is readjusting to and trying to figure out your cycle off hormonal birth control.

    I took a 4-6 month break from BCP in college, and I bled for a long time right after stopping, and then not at all for like 4 months.

    I would have a normal AF for maybe 3 days and then a day or 2 of nothing and then she'd come back for another day or so. That would happen fairly regularly. I never passed any major clots though. When I first went off of BCP I did pass some strange clear clotty stuff (sorry if TMI), that I attributed to what the BCP creates inside to help with it's affectiveness.

    Yes, I normally would've started a new pack of pills last Sunday, but didn't. Glad to know that it can be so weird. When I stopped taking bcp before I TTC Eve, everything went back to normal right away so this completely threw me for a loop. I even exclaimed "I'm bleeding!" in the bathroom at work. Thank goodness I was the only one in there.

    Whenever i quit bc i had totally wierd things like that happen.  Not exactly like that, but similar, not-making-any-sense kind of things.  It's crazy, aways makes me amazed at how strong birth control is and what an effect is has over our bodies. 

    Anyway, you're for sure not alone.  I bet it will regulate soon!
