We're hanging in there. Thankfully daycare is open today - that's the nice thing with using a hospital daycare; it's rare that the hospital closes so it's rare that the daycare closes.
My bio parents are flying in today. Who knows when they'll actually get here. I'm also at a bit of a loss as to what we'll do tomorrow with all this snow. Thankfully their hotel has a pool. We'll also go to daycare at some point for DD's Halloween party.
I don't even want to think about how much snow that is outside. I don't think we've had this much in the fall since my second year here in 1997. My dog (who isn't that small, he's a norwegian elkhound) has to go under a tree in order to even poo because the snow is higher than his butt otherwise!

Yep -- thank goodness for 4wd! The roads aren't too bad once you get to the main ones but the cul de sac where I live is never plowed and without 4wd I could never make it out. And yep, my 80lb lab mix made a series of tunnels through the snow to get anywhere. But she loves it. And so does DD. Glad someone does...
Ugh to all of this snow!! I was 45 minutes late to work and I live less than four miles away!! (okay some of it might have been my fault in leaving late...)
