Seriously, why does everyone think that I can schedule her birth according to their personal convenient schedule? Baby comes when she comes. My MIL wants me to wait until she gets back from Omaha and my family wants her to come before hunting season. They all want her born on THEIR days off from work. Even strangers tell me when it is convenient for them! And I swear, I here how wonderful it would be if she were born on Such and Such date so that there would be a shared birthday. Truely, some of these people I don't even know! Everyone has their own birthdays and I know she is bound to hit a day that someone else has a birthday, but do I really need to hear everyones running list of random peoples birthdays? Sorry, it just seems even the lady at Barnes and Nobel and the coach at the church and the check out lady have to tell me a list of everyone they knows birthday for the next two weeks. Starting to get on my nerves and it makes everything take so much longer than necessary. I don't want to stand there and listen to it. My feet hurt and I am usually really hot and yet they still prattle on. Ugh. Sorry. Anyone else dealing with this?
Re: Do people really think this?
Yep. This is one of my biggest peeves. ?I know a lot of people pop in and say "oh, they're just making?conversation".. or "oh they're just kidding'..?
but the people who have said it to me.. ARE SERIOUS. And it drives me batty!
My Mom's original anniversary was on the 6th [nov]. My "dad" just walked out around this time last year.. and she keeps saying that I just?cannot have the baby on the 6th. ?She is usually pretty good about most things and I am able to tolerate her.. but this makes me nuts.?
?
LOL! No matter when you tell people you're due, they ALWAYS have someone/thing's birthday around that time.?
"Oh! You're due the 16th? My 1/2 brother's first wife, Betty, her daughter's birthday is the 20th!"
I'm just like.. who? ?LOL. ?
Exactly!
