Crap, just got the u/s info

My MW goes through a private sonographer and they don't take insurance. WTH? We already are paying the whole fee for her services up front because it's unclear whether insurance will cover any of it. We just don't have the extra $ to go in for it. I have to have one to check my c-section scar and nothing more technically, the rest is for fun. I'm going to email her and see if there is anyway to get a referral to somewhere that takes it. I just don't understand why they wouldn't take insurance.
