Pregnant after a Loss

Alternatives to Zofran?

I am sick, but I don't want to go on zofran this early. I was on it for about 16 weeks with both of my other kids.   What else is there?

  • There's one that starts with a P, but apparently it knocks you out completely.

My girlfriend actually swears by one of the sleeping pills we're allowed to take. She had bad m/s, but was also having sleeping troubles from other reasons. She started taking the sleeping pills to be able to sleep, and her m/s went away too.

  • My nurse suggested 1/2 a Unisom along with 25mg of B6. I tried it for a few days seem to help a little bit.

  • The unisom and b6 have never seemed to do much for me. :(
  • Hi I don't really have any other suggestion for you. Zofran has been my crutch. It helps to at least let me keep down fluids. But I did want to sorry that you are feeling crumby. I can totally relate to how horrible it can be and I hope you feel better. The nausea just sucks!

  • I think purple is refering to Phenergan (sp)? It can you make you sleepy but it works for some people. I used zofran from day one of my last pregnancy. it was the only thing that kept me sane. The constipation was killer though.
