OMG...i fell at DS' Harvest Parade

ok..so he's parading down the street that goes up the middle of our campus (he goes to school here - 3 yr room & i teach here - highschoolers). looking all cute in his african attire (the theme this year was its a small world/united we stand) and i'm in the throng of parents/grandparents lined up on either side of the street trying to get pictures. of course people bogart and can't wait for their child to come closer to take pictures so its inhibiting me from getting a good pic, even though i'm crouched down (belly and all) to get a better picture. so something tells me to scurry across the street (its only wide enough to fit one car going either way) as there are less people on the other side. BAD IDEA! i couldn't fully get out of my crouching position because of the awkward equilibrium of my belly and i'm already starting to scurry and i've got an iphone in one hand and a camera in the other and i fall...totally scrape up my knees (thank GOD i was in jeans) and my (goshdarnit! favorite pair) of boots...not to mention my knuckles (because my hands were full).

so on what earth do people not help a pregnant lady out after she falls? granted the diva in me allowed me to recover quickly...but jeeesh. everyone was too busy snapping pictures. LOL. i'm sooo ready to go to this doc appt & go home. i just had to share this story because i'm still laughing at myself.

hey murfygirl!! i just couldn't believe no barely even asked if i was alright LOL. OMG @ your over the belly shot. i love it. i've gotta do one of those. i definitely can't see my hoo-ha anymore.

People are so rude now adays. I actually did this a year ago but i was running my my fav pair of boots and tripped over one of those cement stoppers in parking spots. I ended up braking my hand. My hands were bleeding. No one came to help me up. I was livid! and i felt pretty dumb for not paying attention!
