Update: 15.5 week appt

Everything went well this morning at the appointment! All of my lab work was perfect. I heard the baby's heartbeat on the doppler and it was between 132 and 141. It sounded so clear and strong. The doctor didn't have any trouble whatsoever finding it. Her guess is a baby boy :-). Either way, we'll know soon enough... I rescheduled the date of our big ultrasound to November 18th :-D. I'm not sure if we'll still make everyone wait until Thanksgiving Day to share the news or not ;-). But I'll definitely get to shop for the baby at The Market, lol.

Yay for a good appointment

Not that I put a whole lot of stock in the heartbeat old wives tales about sex lol, but Aubrey's was always 150-160 which according to the tale was a girl! So it does make you wonder Wink Not to much longer till you find out and the shopping madness can begin!

I wish you could too! Auburn is "off" that weekend, but I'm sure you are going to relish in that free weekend :-).

Great that everything went so well! Also a good thing you were able to reschedule the big u/s. Now you can shop knowing what (girl or boy) you are shopping for. T'giving was going to be our big reveal date too but with my u/s on the 9th I know it's not gonna happen!

Also, my LO's heartbeat is staying steady at around the lower 140's to 150. Maybe there's a boy in my future as well... Huh?

That is great news!

Our big ultrasound was a few days before Thanksgiving last year. It was hard waiting to tell everyone (I did end up telling my sister and a few coworkers) but we waited to tell almost all of our family until Thanksgiving day.

I'm glad we did... it was nice sitting at the table with all of DH's family and telling them the news. (We then called my family while they were all together and told them the news.) I think it's something I'm always going to equate with Thanksgiving now.... a happy memory.

Cool news!

A little bit different, but I just wanted to share. We got our BFP in early November and decided to tell our parents and sibs at Thanksgiving. It was such a sweet way to celebrate the holiday. Ironically, DH and I met on Thanksgiving day a whole bunch of years ago so it's a special time for us anyway.

So Thanksgiving revelations rock!!!
