1st Trimester

Before your BFP and after ovulation, did you . . .

experience a lot of cramping?  Or just a feeling that a small ball or heaviness was in your uterus?  I have been TTC for only 2 months, but I have a lot of bloating and the symptoms "seem" to be there.

Maybe I'm just feeling AF symptoms (as I completely forgot what pregnancy symptoms were like since I was pregnant with my first 20 months ago), but I thought if anyone would know, you ladies would.

Please tell me your BFP symptoms.

Thanks in advance!

  • I had cramping and sore boobs so I just thought my period was coming then i started having burping not stop and just feeling yucky i still wasnt thinking i'm pg till my husband said you have to be pg and i am!! Its hard because AF symptoms and early pg symptoms are kind of the same so just POAS and you will know! Good luck!

  • The week of my ovulation, I had middleschmertz or whatever that ovulation cramping is called!  Plus one instance of pink discharge on the tp.  I don't recall ever having that before - don't know if it was because there was an issue of first impression happening in my ute!  About a week later, I started having sharp cramping and lots of dull aches, plus a feeling of stretching, and MASSIVE bloating.  That was when I KNEW something was up.  I never get cramps before my period comes, just a day after it's here.  I don't know exactly when I ovulated, but I tested three days before my period was supposed to begin and got a "pregnant" on the digital!

No sore boobs at that time (though they kill now at 10 weeks).  I was STARVING and eating like a horse but not gaining weight.

    Good luck to you!

  • My symptoms were the same as AF symptoms.  I did have lots of O cramping....and I thought for sure that the month I got my BFP that AF was coming to visit.

    Good Luck!

  • My symptoms felt just like those for AF. I was shocked to get a BFP.

My symptoms were just like AF symptoms as well.  I waited until 15 dpo to test b/c I was SURE AF was on her way.

  • i had no symptoms, and honestly this pregnancy has been pretty symptom free other than nausea.  for my first pg i had sore boobs at 6 weeks (that was my first symptom)

  • The symptoms I had were mainly sore sore boobs. They felt like someone punched them and they were bruised and I also started feeling bloated.

I also had implantation that I had never had before. Since I have heard that it is not very common I was not expecting it at all and suddenly one day I saw two random dots and had a very big feeling I was pregnant then.

I also bought very sensitive pregnancy tests online at www.earlypregnancytests.com. I was able to get a faint positive 4 days before my expected AF and it was even at night.

    Good luck!

  • I got constipated a few days before my BFP, which is unusual for me. Other than that, it was typical AF symptoms. Used a sensitive 1st response test and didn't get a BFP 'til 14 DPO.
  • The only cycle I didn't have "symptoms" was the one where I was knocked up.
  • I just had AF symptoms.  Some cramping, sore boobs (just the bottom part which was how it had been when I was getting AF) and bloat.  I even told H the Saturday that I should have gotten AF that AF was on her way.  That Sunday we had a church picnic and I was so bloated after eating.  I remember being so upset that I couldn't eat more like I usually do (the food is so good).  I kept saying "why can't I eat", "why am I so bloated".

Well day 34 was Monday and I couldn't wait until Day 35 so I tested after work on Day 34 and it was positive.  Talk about dead shock!

  • I had some cramping around ovulation and for the past few weeks my sense of smell has been completely crazy. Plus, I have become an extremely picky eater where before I would eat just about anything.
  • I didn't have any cramping, but my boobs were incredibly sore, which I just chalked up to PMS.  I did get really nauseated at work one night, and I remember wondering "Am I pregnant?".
