I went to the doctor and she gave me these samples and said to use them through the weekend and I have never used them before. (I also have the z-pack to start tonight)

I used nasonex for my allergies. It was the only thing that would work. It really dries out your nose, but for a sinus infection, it might do the trick. You might need to take a drink after, cause it doesn't taste all that good.
I tend to get several sinus infections each year. Each time they give me a Rx for nasonex & some stonger anti-biotic ( the z pack never works for me). They also advise to take Musinex as it will help drain out your sinus cavaties quicker....and of course, plenty of liquids.
I hope you feel better !

Hi Lemon! The Doc I work for gives out these meds all the time, and as with all meds, they work for some people and not for others.
The Nasonex is a steroid that is going to help decrease the swelling in your nasal passages and sinus areas. I'm not so familiar with how Xyzal works, though. Sorry
Hope you feel better soon, and that the Zpack wipes out the infection for you!

I dont know if you get sinus infections often, but I use a neti pot to help prevent them. It basically is saline that flushes everything out. I went from 4 a year to 1 and the one usually occurs when i havent been consistant.
Hey Lemon. My DH uses nose spray quite often but he just gets a generic brand. Every year he needs it and his dr. puts him on the zpack for bronchitis. I hope your feeling better soon!
